AUDITION NOTICE

 

Choreographer Bartek Woszczynski and B’cause Dance Company are looking for dancers for a new creation ‚Faceless | Less Face’. We are looking for 2 creative, charismatic male dancers with excellent contemporary dance technique and experience in working creatively, based on both improvisation and set material. Skills such as partnering or contact work will be advantages.

 

The rehearsals for the project will start on the 13th of May and will last until the premiere (Monday-Friday, 9:30-15:30), which will happen on the 24th of June in Teatr Syrena. Both the rehearsals and the performance will take place in Warsaw. Additionally, one of the dancers will take over one of the roles in a performance Homesick | Sick Home (rehearsals will happen between the 9th and the 15th of April and the 2nd week of May) for performances in May in Poland and Denmark.

 

In order to apply, please send your CV (1 page), a link to a 1-3 minutes material showing you moving and a filled GDPR form to bcausedc@gmail.com (link below) titled ‚ faceless | Less Face Audition’ by March 14th. Please, also write your availability for the dates. Within two days after the deadline, we will contact all of the applicants and invite selected dancers for the audition that will happen on the 31st of March (detailed information will be sent via email to the selected dancers). Please let us know if you need an advance notice in order to plan your travel. We will contact you as soon as possible.

The organiser is not able to cover the travel and accommodation during the audition. Please, be aware that you need to have a work permit in the EU in order to apply for this position.
